The Huskies
SCSU (4-2-0, 2-1) returns to the pitch after taking a 2-0 defeat to Bemidji State last weekend. Freshman goalkeeper Jaylee Strickland faced seven shots and recorded five saves. Strickland has started in every game this season.
Junior forward Ariel Hawkey leads the Huskies with two goals and one assist for a total of five points. Hawkey is joined by Ellie Primerano who has recorded one goal and two assists for a total of four points.
The Vikings
AU (3-2-1, 1-1) hit the road after going 1-1 in conference play last weekend. The Vikings are led by
Hope Korte who continues her incredible start to the season. Korte leads AU with six points and three goals.
Paige Bracker and
Shea Ellender join Korte on the stats board, as both recorded goals in the past two weeks of play.
Jillian Barkus has faced a total of 71 shots, allowing only four goals and making 21 saves. Barkus holds a career record of 28-13-5.
