DULUTH, Minn. – Under the Lake Superior fog, Augustana soccer played to a 0-0 draw against NSIC foe Minnesota Duluth Friday at James S. Malosky Stadium.

Both teams combined for six shots on goal and 10 overall throughout the first half. In the second half, AU controlled a majority of the ball as it recorded four shots on goal to UMD's zero. 

Jillian Barkus played lights-out goalkeeping as she stopped three shots on goal en route to her fourth clean sheet on the season. 

Grace Douglas powered the Augustana offense as she fired three shots on goal in 69 minutes of play. Douglas played a key role in controlling the wing as she opened up the play for her teammates to make critical runs.

CHANCE (AU) 3' - Douglas opened herself into space as she created the first scoring opportunity for the Vikings' from outside the box.

CHANCE (UMD) 4' - The Bulldogs answered back with a scoring chance of their own as Jacqueline Jares fired in a shot just high and above the goal. 

CHANCE (AU) 9' - Ally Hamski joined the action with a shot from outside the box, as she made the UMD keeper stretch out for a save. 

CHANCE (AU) 11' - Erika Leeman made the most of her scoring chance, as she banged in a header toward the net but found the crossbar. AU continued their opportunity with a follow-up shot that was saved. 

CHANCE (UMD) 12' - Minnesota Duluth worked the ball down the field and created a scoring opportunity that was squandered by J. Barkus. 

CHANCE (UMD) 15' - The offensive presence continued as Sarah Stange fired in a low shot toward the right side of the net but was denied by J. Barkus. 

CHANCE (AU) 18' - Douglas worked her way down the wing into open space as she found teammate Annaka Bard wide open from outside the box, Bard fired in a right-footed shot just high. 

CHANCE (AU) 49'/61' - Douglas fired in two shots towards the bottom left of the goal but was stopped by UMD keeper

CHANCE (AU) 66' - Madelyn White found an opportunity to break the deadlock with a shot low to the right side of the net but was unsuccessful. 

CHANCE (UMD) 80' - Hallie Witte received a set piece from the corner, as she bumped one high of the net off her head. 

CHANCE (UMD) 87' - J. Barkus came up big for AU as she leaped out to punch away UMD's best scoring opportunity.
