LARCHWOOD, Iowa – Women's golf finished in a tie for second place at the USF Invitational on the greens of Grand Falls Casino and Golf Resort to close out its Fall season on Tuesday afternoon. The Vikings recorded a stroke count of 632 in a field of 10 teams.
Shannon McCormick finished in third place with a stroke count of 153.
Lanie Veenendall finished behind McCormick in fourth place.

How it Happened
- McCormick closed out the invitational in third place after rounds of 75 and 78 for a stroke count of 153. She totaled four birdies throughout two days.
- Veenendall jumped five places on day two to finish in fourth place with a stroke count of 154. She shot rounds of 78 and 76 with four birdies.
- Mattie Weidenbach finished with a stroke count of 162 from back-to-back rounds of 81. Weidenbach recorded a birdie on day one of the invitational.
- Masy Mock totaled a stroke count of 163 after rounds of 82 and 81. She finished in a tie for 19th.
- Avary Johnson rounded out the team finishers for Augustana with a stroke count of 165 and a tie for 27th. She totaled rounds of 84 and 81.
- Payton Drefke placed as the highest individual for Augustana with a stroke count of 162 with rounds of 78 and 84.
- Anna Eckmann placed 40th as an individual with a stroke count of 171. Eckmann scored rounds of 85 and 86.
- Hanna Knoop finished in a tie for 42nd as an individual. She totaled rounds of 84 and 91 for a stroke count of 175.
