BISMARK, N.D. – Augustana soccer (4-4-2, 3-2-1 NSIC) fell to UMary (5-2-1, 3-1-1 NSIC) Sunday afternoon by a score of 1-0 in NSIC Conference play. 

Despite edging out UMary in shots 9-8, the Marauders recorded three shots on goal to Augustana one. Aaliyah Matthews backstopped the goal with two saves on the afternoon. Morgan Mancuso totaled five shots in 70 minutes of play with one on net. Madelyn White and Audrey Parnell rounded out the Vikings' shots with two each. 

Augustana had 20 Vikings touch the pitch in Sunday's match, Ashlyn Kelliher and Matthews totaled the most minutes with 90 each. 

The Vikings had a strong offensive push in the final 10 minutes of play with four shots but the Marauders' defense stood strong.

GOAL (UMary) 15' - Maliah Burke netted the game's lone goal in the 15th minute with a shot to the lower left of the frame. Olivia Gardner collected an assist on the goal. 

SHOT (AU) 20' - Five minutes after UMary scored, Mancuso found open space to power in a shot that went wide of the net.

SHOT (UMary) 22' - Gardner missed right of the post in the 22nd minute for UMary's second shot of the afternoon. 

SHOT (UMary) 46' - The Marauders opened up the pace in the second half with a shot from Gardner that missed right of the net. 

SHOT (AU) 53' - Mancuso turned the pace in Augustana's favor with her third shot of the match that went just wide of the right post. 

SHOT (UMary) 79' - Matthews made two big saves for Augustana in the 79th minute off shots from Gardner. 

 SHOTS (AU) 85-89' - Augustana controlled possession of the ball in the final 10 minutes of action with shots from Parnell, Mancuso and White.
