ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Augustana women's soccer team (9-4-3, 8-2-2 NSIC) scored two goals in the second half of Friday's 2-0 win over Northern State (6-6-4, 5-4-4 NSIC) to net key league points. Macie Haggerty and Madelyn White found the back of the net while Taya Baker made nine saves. 

Augustana had seven Vikings tally shots with White leading the pack with four. Augustana was outshot 17-12.

SHOT (AU) 2' - Delaney Kost opened up the offensive play early with a shot on goal at the two-minute mark. 

SHOT (NSU) 4' - Baker came up big with her first save off a shot from Chloe Voss. 

SHOT (AU) 5' - Audrey Parnell found action with a shot that missed just left of the net. 

SHOT (NSU) 14' - Megan Fastenau had her shot on goal stopped by Baker. 

SHOT (AU) 22' - Augustana's leading goal scorer Madelyn White was denied on her shot placed for the lower quadrant of the net. 

SHOT (NSU) 34' - Fastenau had a chance to break the deadlock but hit the woodwork in the final 15 minutes of the first half. 

GOAL (AU) 53' - Haggerty broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute as she powered in a shot from just shy of the midfield line that soared over Alexus Townsend's outstretched arm. 

SHOT (NSU) 55' - Eva Larson looked to answer back for Northern State but was denied by Baker.

GOAL (AU) 63' - White joined the box score with her fourth goal of the season as she headed in a cross from Delaney Kost. 

SHOTS (NSU) 78-84' - Baker continued to dominate the net for Augustana as she made three key saves in the closing minutes of play.
