SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana soccer team (10-5-4, 9-2-3) saw its NSIC playoff run come to an end on Monday afternoon on Morstad Field as it dropped a 1-0 contest to Minot State. The Beavers scored in the 73rd minute to advance in the NSIC playoffs.
In a tightly contested match, Augustana and Minot State shared possession of the ball throughout the first 45 minutes of play. It was in the 73rd minute that Brooklyn Casey broke the deadlock with a right-footed shot past
Taya Baker to seal the Beavers win.
Baker moved to 7-1-2 on the season as she made nine saves on 10 shots on goal. Four Vikings recorded shots on goal but couldn't sneak one past Siriana Gudino.
