Augustana, Dakota News Now Partnering To Broadcast Men's and Women's Basketball

SIOUX FALLS – Dakota News Now is partnering with Augustana University this winter to make some men's and women's home basketball games available on television.  

"This is a great opportunity to showcase our university and basketball programs," said Vice President for Athletics Josh Morton. "We are excited for Viking fans in the area to be able to follow us as we chase championships this winter." 

Dakota News Now plans to air eight home games during the upcoming season. The first pair of games will air on Friday, January 10 against the University of Mary. Viewers will be able to watch all the broadcasts on Outlaw TV Channel 13.2. 

"We're excited to be able to share these games with Dakota News Now viewers on Channel 13.2," Dakota News Now President & General Manager Jim Berman said. "With so many Vikings alums living in the area, we think this is going to be great for our viewers and a great opportunity to showcase these talented student-athletes."

Saturday, February 8    University of Minnesota Duluth    3:30pm and 5:30pm 
Tuesday, February 11    University of Sioux Falls        5:30pm and 7:30pm 
Friday, February 14    Bemidji State             5:30pm and 7:30pm 
Saturday, February 15    St. Cloud State             3:30pm and 5:30pm 
 
In addition to the Augustana games, Dakota News Now also airs high school football and basketball games through a partnership with MetroSports.TV. This summer, Dakota News Now also aired the Sioux Falls City Football Club home games and several games featuring the Sioux Falls Canaries. Dakota News Now produces more than 45 hours of news each week on KSFY, KDLT and FOX Sioux Falls.
