INDIANAPOLIS – The Augustana men's basketball team is in the first set of NCAA Division II Regional Rankings for the 2023-24 basketball season. The initial rankings are listed in alphabetical order and listed as under consideration for the NCAA Tournament according to the NCAA.
 
Augustana, 16-10 overall, holds a 14-10 NCAA Division II record. Amongst the teams listed, the Vikings own victories over Minot State, MSU Moorhead and Southeastern Oklahoma State.
 
The NSIC makes up seven of the 10 teams listed with the MIAA holding two spots and Southeastern Oklahoma the lone representative from the GAC.
 
The NCAA Men's Basketball Selection Show will air on www.NCAA.com on Sunday, March 10 at 10 p.m. (CT). The NCAA Elite Eight will take place on March 26-30 at The Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana. 
 
Augustana's season continues Friday and Saturday as the Vikings host Northern State Friday at 7:30 p.m. and UMary on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
