SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana women's golf topped the podium in its home invitational with a combined score of 611. Lauren Tims, Shannon McCormick and Lanie Veenendall placed in the top three to help push the Vikings to victory.

How it Happened

• Tims placed above the rest with a combined stroke count of 144 after shooting 73 in round one and 71 in round two. 
• McCormick placed second with rounds of 74 and 78.
• Veenendall rounded out the top three finishers with a score of 154. 
• Molly Stevens found herself just outside the top five with a stroke count of 161. 
• Mattie Weidenbach tied for 15th with a stroke count of 168.
• Augustana led all three categories with an average stroke score of 3.15 on Par-3s, 4.55 on Par-4s and 4.95 on Par-5s. 
• The Vikings combined for 94 pars and 18 birdies.
• McCormick had an average score of 2.75 on Par-3s. 
• Tims led the way with an average score of 4.10 on Par-4s and on Par-5s with 4.63.
• Tims tallied 24 pars through two rounds with teammate Veenendall swinging in 22.
• McCormick finished with an invite-high seven birdies.
