MANKATO, Minn. – Augustana soccer (2-3-1, 1-1) dropped a Sunday afternoon match to No. 22 Minnesota State Mankato (3-1-2, 2-0) by a score of 3-1 in Mankato, Minnesota. The Mavericks netted two goals in the first half and an early goal in the second half to secure their win. 

Augustana recorded its lone goal in the first half after Madelyn White booted a pass into the box and found Ally Hamski for her first of the season. The Vikings recorded two shots on goal throughout the match. 

Aaliyah Matthews backstopped the Vikings and recorded eight saves. She faced 20 shots with 11 finding their way on target.
