BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Morgan Mancuso and Aaliyah Matthews of Augustana soccer were named NSIC players of the week, announced by the conference Monday afternoon. 

Mancuso was named Offensive Player of the Week after she recorded her first career goal in Augustana's 1-0 win over St. Cloud State. She followed up her performance with the second goal in Augustana's 2-0 win over Minnesota Duluth. 

Matthews was named Goalkeeper of the Week after she recorded two clean sheets. She made four saves in Friday's win and two saves in Sunday's win. She faced a total of 15 shots with six of them on net. 

NSIC Offensive Player of the Week
#23 Morgan Mancuso (F, 5-7, Fr., Omaha, Neb. / Roncalli Catholic HS) 
- Netted two goals in Augustana's wins over SCSU and UMD
- Scored her first career goal, the game-winner, in a 1-0 win over SCSU
- Followed up with the second goal in a 2-0 win over UMD
- Both goals were headers

NSIC Goalkeeper of the Week
#0 Aaliyah Matthews (GK, 5-11, R-Fr., Omaha, Neb. / Millard HS)
- Recorded back-to-back shutouts in wins over SCSU and UMD
- Made four saves in Friday's 1-0 win over the Huskies
- Added two saves in Sunday's 2-0 win over UMD
- Faced 15 shots over the weekend with six on goal
