MARSHALL, MINN. – The Augustana soccer team earned its ninth win of the season Sunday afternoon with a 3-0 victory over Southwest Minnesota State. Madelyn White recorded a brace in the first half while Ally Hamski added a second-half goal on a penalty kick. The Vikings improve to 9-2-2 overall and 7-2-1 in NSIC action.
Augustana's offense overwhelmed the Mustangs with 27 total shots, including 14 on goal. White led the charge with three shots and two goals in 51 minutes of play, while Hamski tallied three shots—two on frame—and her third goal of the season. Goalkeeper Taya Baker recorded four saves to notch her sixth shutout of the year. Assists came from Ashlyn Kelliher and Connor Rylance.
