MANKATO, Minn. – On a rainy, cold Friday afternoon, Augustana women's soccer fell to No. 2 Minnesota State at The pitch by a score of 2-0. After a scoreless first half, Minnesota State found the back of the net twice to secure the win.

Minnesota State edged out the Vikings in shots on goal, 9-6. Taya Baker made seven saves and faced seven corners throughout the game. Madelyn White garnered a team-high two shots on goal.

SAVE (AU) 72' - Baker turned away an opportunity in the 72nd minute off the boot of Ruthie Gyasi. 

SAVE (AU) 73' - Baker made another save in the 73rd minute as she stretched out her glove and tipped the ball high off the crossbar. 

GOAL (MSU) 81' - Addison Clarey pushed the Mavericks' lead to two with a header that bounced over Baker.
