BURNSVILLE, Minn. – The Augustana soccer team had five Vikings named to the NSIC All-Conference Teams, announced by the conference Thursday morning. Across the league, 17 players were named to the first team and 38 to the second team.
Madelyn White was named to the NSIC first team, while
Ally Hamski,
Grace Katter,
Avery Nelson and
Connor Rylance were named to the second team.
White tallied 13 goals and two assists for a team-high 28 points. She recorded six game-winning goals and started in all 19 games. In her career at Augustana, she has collected 19 goals and 11 assists for 49 points.
Hamski started in all 19 games this season and recorded five goals and six assists for 16 points. She tallied one game-winning goal and netted four of her goals on penalty kicks. In four seasons at Augustana, she has scored 13 goals and eight assists for 34 points.
Katter opened up her freshman season with seven goals and two assists for 16 points in 19 games. She started in two games and scored three game-winning goals in 913 minutes of play. Katter ended the regular season with an NSIC Offensive Player of the Week honor.
Rylance started in all 19 games this season and tallied one goal and three points for five points. She played in 1,441 minutes of action and scored one game-winning goal. In four seasons with Augustana, she scored three goals and eight assists for 14 points.
Nelson started in all 19 games this season and played an impactful role on the backend for the Vikings. She recorded one assist and earned NSIC Defender of the Week in 1,710 minutes of play. Throughout four seasons with Augustana, she started in 29 games and played in 51.
