SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana women's golf team opens its spring portion of the 2024-25 season as it hosts the Augustana Spring Fling on Thursday and Friday. The two-day tournament includes a total of seven teams at Desert Willow Golf Course in Palm Desert, California.

The Vikings
During the fall, the Vikings finished in the top five in four different tournaments including two first-place finishes. Augustana opened up the season in early September with a first-place finish in the Central Region Preview. It also captured its second first-place finish in the Mustang Invite in late September.
The Vikings garnered three NSIC Golfer of the Week honors during the Fall.
Shannon McCormick secured the first one of the year with a stroke count of 146 at the Central Region Preview. She followed up shortly after with her second honor of the season after she scored 143 at the Grace Shin Invitational.
Masy Mock joined the party with her honor after she finished with a stroke count of 142 at the Mustang Invite.
Spring Season
Augustana competes in five regular season competitions in the spring with the sixth being the NSIC Championships. The Vikings will host the Augustana Invitational on April 7-8. The NSIC Championships will be held in Smithville, Missouri April 25-27.
