BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Following a weekend with six straight conference wins, Augustana softball swept the NSIC weekly honors as Andrea Cain was tabbed Player of the Week and Lexi Lander was named Pitcher of the Week, league officials announced Monday.
 
#20 Andrea Cain (IF/OF, 5-5, Jr., R/R, Sioux Falls, S.D. / Brandon Valley HS) - Augustana
- Went 12-for-19 from the plate for a .632 weekend batting average
- Registered a .895 slugging percentage and .696 OBP
- Scored 11 runs for the Vikings while adding in four walks, 3 RBI, two doubles and one homerun
- Collected two stolen bases, both in game two against UMary
- Dominated from the plate against the Marauders, going 3-for-3 and 3-for-4, respectively
- Added in another 3-for-4 performance against Minot State
- Is in the midst of a seven-game streak with a hit
- Leads the conference in runs scored (45)
- Helped Augustana to a 6-0 weekend
 
#32 Lexi Lander (RHP, 5-9, Gr., R/R, Onawa, Iowa / West Monona HS) - Augustana
- Went 2-0 in three appearances for Augustana
- Accrued an ERA of 1.47 across 14.1 innings pitched with one complete game
- Allowed just five runs while collecting 21 strikeouts
- Held opponents to a .145 batting average
- Tallied a stifling career-high 14 strikeouts against Minot State
- Forced a .111 batting average for the Beavers
- Helped Vikings to a 6-0 weekend
- Named NSIC Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season (3/24/25)
