SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Vice President for Athletics Josh Morton has announced that Augustana football will have three games air live across Midco Sports channels this season. 

"Midco Sports continues to serve as a regional leader in sports broadcasting and a valued premier partner of our campus," said Morton. "This collaboration represents another significant step in enhancing the visibility of Augustana Athletics, particularly our two-time defending conference champion football program."

The Vikings open the slate with their August 30, matchup at home against MIAA foe Missouri Western. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m., and will air on the Midco Sports main channel. Jay Elsen will be on the call for the action. 

The first of two home games to air on Midco Sports Two will be on September 6, at 1 p.m., against a fresh NSIC face in Jamestown. It will be the first game between the two programs since an 18-0 Augustana victory on November 8, 1941. 

Rounding out the action on Midco Sports Two is a November 8, senior day match-up against Minnesota State. The 1 p.m. kickoff will be a rematch of the past two NCAA Division II Playoff opening-round games. The game in November will be the fifth matchup between the two teams in three seasons and could likely have NCAA playoff implications. David Brown takes the mic for what should be a heavyweight showdown.
