BRUNSVILLE, Minn. – Augustana women's golf was picked to finish second in the 2025-26 NSIC women's golf preseason coaches' poll with 122 points and a first-place vote.
Lanie Veenendall was selected as the NSIC Preseason Player of the Year.

Coralee Jorgensen said "Augustana looks forward to welcoming two new freshmen,
Amanda McRoberts and Josephine (Joey) Koth. They both have had success in high school and will fit right into our program."
The Vikings return four athletes in
Payton Drefke,
Anna Eckmann,
Hanna Knoop and
Lanie Veenendall. Veenendall is a three-time All-NSIC First Team selection and reigning NSIC Player of the Year.
Jorgensen continued "Lanie has been a steady player for the past three years. Her dedication to fitness, practice and competition, has created a powerful golf swing with great touch around the greens. Most importantly, Lanie strives to win and will always give us her best."
The New Richmond, Wis. native is also a three-time WGCA All-American Scholar and two-time CSC At-Large Academic All-District honoree.
