SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – August football. The Vikings open 2025 Saturday with the NSIC's lone Saturday contest, a 1 p.m. kickoff against Missouri Western inside Kirkeby-Over Stadium. Fans are encouraged to wear Gold as part of the Be Bold, Wear Gold promotion.
Tickets
It continues to be a digital-first ticketing system for Augustana football. Fans can purchase tickets ahead of time and can present their tickets on their smartphones. Single-game tickets can be purchased at the ticket window and those can either be printed, texted or emailed at the time of purchase. Tickets purchased at the window will include a $5 fee. Click

Downloading the GoAugie FanApp, presented by The Original Pancake House, is the easiest and most convenient way to purchase tickets. The free app is available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Augieville
The site for all pregame festivities gets underway at 11 a.m., with appearances by the Viking Marching Band and Augustana Spirit Squads as well as the A-Club Tailgate sponsored by the South Dakota Beef Logic. A-Club members will receive a free meal with their Viking Pass at the A-Club Tailgate and fans who are not A-Club members can purchase that same meal for $10. Parking in the lot is $10.
In addition, Augustana students have a space in Augieville designated specifically for them to create their own tailgate, led by student support organization SKOL. Augieville is located north and west of Kirkeby-Over Stadium on the practice football field.
Revamped Food Options
Sodexo will offer a few new food options at football this season. To go along with the new items, And back by popular demand, Sodexo will continue selling fresh squeezed lemonade.
The Augie Dog - A bold twist on a classic favorite! This all-beef hot dog is smothered in creamy macaroni and cheese. Served in a warm, soft pretzel bun, it's the perfect blend of comfort food and game-day indulgence. One bite, and you'll know — this dog means business.

Valentino's – We're now serving up your favorites by the slice. Choose from our classic, cheesy slices hot from the oven, and don't forget to add a side of our warm breadsticks. Fast, fresh, and full of flavor — it's everything you love about Valentino's, now by the slice!
Beer Garden
JJ's Beer Garden will continue to safely allow alcohol consumption throughout much of Kirkeby-Over Stadium. A single point of sale will remain in the beer garden, which is now located in the northeast corner of the stadium, where fans will then be able to bring their beverage back to their seats.
The selection will include expanded beverage options including mixed drinks and batch cocktails at both locations. JJ's Wine, Spirits and Cigars will continue to manage the beer garden including using its professionally trained staff to ID and wristband those that are 21 and over. The serving area will close at the conclusion of the third quarter.
Marching Band
The Viking Marching Band will treat fans to pregame and halftime performances alongside the sounds of the atmosphere of a college football game coming from the band. 2025 will see a new location for the band as they move to section 108.
