SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana vice president for athletics Josh Morton has announced the addition of Dominick Francois to the athletics department as the director of video and creative content. Francois will lead video and digital content for all 23 Augustana sports.

Francois comes to Augustana from Saint Leo University, where he spent the last two years as a creative content and communications graduate assistant. With the Lions, he produced and distributed creative content across 15 varsity sports that contributed to a 20-percent increase in social media engagement across a variety of platforms. 

He created content across various grassroots circuits including Nike GYBL and GUAA. In addition, freelancing with various athletes, universities and sports media companies. 

Before Saint Leo, Francois filmed and edited over 2,000 hours of video content for Wisconsin Flight Elite, helping directly support the recruitment journeys of multiple athletes. He also spent time in the cities as a photographer and videographer for Prep Hoops Network. 

During his undergrad at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, he spent three years working within the athletics department, where he delivered photographic and creative content.  

Francois earned a Bachelor of Science in media studies at Stevens Point and his Master of Business Administration at Saint Leo. 

He began his duties on September 2nd.
