SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Kyle Huffman has been elevated to Athletics Event Manager after serving the past two years as an Athletic Administration Graduate Assistant. 

Senior Associate Athletics Director for Operations Luke Groth said, "Kyle has made a significant impact during his two years at Augustana as a graduate assistant, demonstrating exceptional dedication and leadership. We are proud to elevate him to the full-time role of Athletics Event Manager. This well-earned advancement reflects his commitment to excellence, and we look forward to his continued success in delivering an outstanding experience for our student-athletes and the entire Augustana University community."

Huffman will play a vital role in the athletic department, responsible for the comprehensive planning, coordination, and execution of all home athletic contests and special events throughout the academic year. This includes regular-season competitions, postseason games, in-season tournaments, and NCAA-sanctioned events across fall, winter, and spring sports. 

Huffman, a native of Marshalltown, Iowa, joined the Vikings in 2024 and graduated from William Penn in 2024, where he majored in sports management. He'll graduate in the Spring of 2026 with a Master's in Sports Administration and Leadership from Augustana.
