BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Following a National Championship at the NCAA DII Wrestling Championships, Augustana 197-pounder Max Ramberg has been named the NSIC Wrestler of the Year, league officials announced Thursday morning.
 
A three-time NCAA All-American, Ramberg went a perfect 19-0 on the season, reaching the mountaintop with a 4-2 decision over No. 2 Nicholas Johnson of Glenville State in the national championship match.
 
Ramberg placed in top four at NCAA Super Region V all four seasons at Augustana, winning his first region title this season. He was named All-NSIC First Team after going 8-0 in NSIC duals. 
 
The award caps a storied career for Ramberg. He finishes with a 99-30 career record and recorded 34 career tech falls, a program record, and also holds a record for tech falls in a season with 13.
