BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – The Augustana women's golf team closed out its time in the NSIC Championships in seventh place with a stroke count of 979. Lanie Veenendall led the charge for the Vikings with an 18th-place finish after she finished with a stroke count of 239.

How it Happened

• Veenendall collected rounds of 81, 76 and 82 for a total stroke count of 239. She closed out the tournament in a tie for 18th. Veenendall garnered two birdies throughout the tournament. 
• Payton Drefke closed out the tournament with a stroke count of 244 after rounds of 81, 81 and 82. Drefke tallied birdies on day two and three and finished in 26th.
• Joey Koth recorded rounds of 77, 86 and 86 for a total stroke count of 249. She finished in a tie for 31st and tallied three birdies. 
• Anna Eckmann jumped six slots on the final round and finished in a tie for 31st alongside Koth with a stroke count of 249. Eckmann delivered rounds of 82, 86 and 81. She collected five birdies throughout the event.
• Hanna Knoop rounded out the Vikings in a tie for 43rd with a stroke count of 262 after rounds of 89, 89 and 84. She jumped five slots and garnered two birdies.
