SURPRISE, Ariz. – For the first time in program history, the Augustana women's tennis team advanced to the NCAA DII Tennis Championship Quarterfinals with a 4-0 win over 11th-seeded Midwestern State on Tuesday afternoon at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex.

Smilte Bakyte, the Vikings made quick work in singles play. Yang, Karaouza and
Chelsea Seidewitz scored wins in their respective matches. Karaouza secured the Vikings' win in her second set and advanced AU by set scores of 6-1, 6-4.
