WARRENSBURG, Mo. - The No. 13 Augustana baseball team saw its season come to an end in the Super Regional, falling 10-1 to No. 22 Central Missouri on Friday afternoon at Crane Stadium. The Vikings finish the 2026 season 45-16 overall and reached their fifth Super Regional in program history.
Ragan Pinnow had a pair of hits and scored the lone Viking run in the final game of his Augustana career.
Maddox Foss added a hit and RBI.
Joel Van De Stroet allowed six runs in 1 2/3 innings of work while striking out a pair and allowing six hits and a walk.
Josiah Petersen allowed a run without getting an out and
Drew Ball finished the second inning and went a total of four innings, allowing a pair of hits while striking out four.
Will Henry went 2 1/3 innings with four strikeouts while
Adam Diedrich got the final three outs of his Viking career.
The first three Mules had hits, scoring a pair of runs to open the scoring. They followed that with five runs in the second inning, one in the fourth and another in the fifth to take a 9-0 lead. A fielder's choice in the bottom of the fifth put the Vikings on the board and the Mules hit a solo home run in the seventh to bring the game to its final score.
