BURNSVILLE, Minn. – The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference released its annual NSIC All-Sports Award, given to the institution that won the most conference-sponsored championships during the 2025-26 season.
Augustana won the men's award, totaling 94 points, defeating second-place Minnesota State narrowly by 7.5 points. The Vikings took third place on the women's side after they tallied 95 points. Minnesota State collected 140 points to win the women's standings.
In the 2025-26 NSIC All-Sports Award overall standings, Minnesota State won its ninth award since re-joining the league in 2008. MSU won seven regular-season titles throughout the season. Augustana had another solid year, winning three regular-season titles in men's cross country, baseball and women's tennis.
The Vikings and Mavericks will be presented their awards on Tuesday, July 7 at the NSIC Hall of Fame Banquet in Bloomington, Minnesota.
The NSIC All Sports Award is calculated by awarding the winner of each conference-sponsored championship points totaling the number of teams in that sport plus one. The next place finisher receives points totaling the number of teams less the number of places from first place. Ties in the standings at any level result in the total points and equal distribution.
