LEXINGTON, KY – The Augustana volleyball team has been bestowed with the 2026 American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award, the AVCA and INTENT announced on Monday.
 
This is the 10th year in a row that the Vikings have received this honor. Augustana finished the 2025-26 school year with a cumulative team GPA of 3.71.
 
The award, initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale or a 4.1 on a 5.0 scale. Augustana is one of more than 1,400 collegiate and high school teams to earn the award this year.
