Elected team captain for the 2009 season. 2008: Started at quarterback for the Vikings in 11 games … Completed nearly 55 percent of his passes, going 131-of-239 for 1,654 yards with 10 touchdowns and eight interceptions ... Completed 19-of-30 for 243 yards and three scores in a 42-21 victory at Concordia-St. Paul …Posted a season-high 21-of-30 effort in a 39-20 victory over Southwest Minnesota State, throwing for 290 yards and three touchdowns, including a season-long 82-yarder to Tyler Schulte …Rushed nine times for 82 yards at Minnesota, Crookston …Threw for over 100 yards in 7-of-11 games.

Transfer from Idaho State where he spent two seasons.  2007:  Played in 9 career games for the Bengals in 2006 and 2007 … Saw action in 5 games in 2007 … Earned starts against Montana State and Northern Arizona … Completed 45 of 85 passes for 468 yards … Rushed for 66 yards on 19 carries … Against Eastern Washington, he came off the bench to complete 22 of 41 passes for 264 yards.  

2006:  saw action in 4 games … He was 6-for-12 passing for 48 yards, and he rushed for another 23 yards on 9 carries.  

2005:  Sat out season as a redshirt.  

High school: Was a 3-year starting quarterback at Century High School in Pocatello … Led the team to the 2003 state championship … A team captain as a senior … Was the Idaho State Journal First Team All-Area pick, and he was also their Offensive Player of the Year … Threw for 928 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior and 985 yards and 14 scores as a junior … Also lettered in basketball and baseball at Century, helping the Diamondbacks to a pair of district basketball titles and the 2003 state championship … Earned academic all-conference honors all 4 years.
