2008: Started all 12 games at defensive tackle, logging 27 tackles ... Recorded a season-high five tackles versus Minnesota Duluth …Tallied four tackles, two of them for loss, at Minnesota, Crookston …Tallied another half sack against Wayne State.

2007: Started all 11 regular season games…Recorded nine tackles…Had two tackles-for-loss, including a 12-yard sack at St. Cloud State…Tallied two tackles three times.  

2006: Saw action in 8 games … Tallied 6 tackles, including 1 for loss. 

2005: Sat out season as a redshirt.

High School: A standout defensive lineman at Lakeville High School … Was third on the team with 33 solo tackles … Also had 9 assisted tackles for 42 total stops … Recorded 8 quarterback sacks and recovered one fumble … A team captain, he was an All-Lake Conference First Team performer in 2004 while being named his team’s Outstanding Defensive Lineman … Helped the Panthers to a 14-0 record in 2003 and a Class 5A state championship, along with current Viking football player Mark Booth … Also competes in the throws on the track and field team … Teammate of another Viking, Mike Vanasek.
