Elected team captain for the 2009 season.  2008: Sustained an injury before the 2008 season and earned a medical redshirt.

2007: Started all 11 games…Led the team in tackles, tackles-for-loss and sacks…Recorded 5.5 sacks, including two versus Concordia-St. Paul…Twice recorded three tackles-for-loss, and finished the season with 14…Had a total of 94 tackles, including 50 solo stops…Had double digit tackle efforts versus South Dakota (14), at Central Washington (13), versus Minnesota Duluth (12) and Concordia-St. Paul (10)…Forced a fumble versus South Dakota. 

2006: Appeared in all 11 games … Started the final 6 games of the season … Was fourth on the team in tackles with 48, including 33 solo stops … Had a team-high 11 tackles for loss, resulting in minus 41 yards … Collected a career-high 12 tackles against Central Arkansas. 
2005: Appeared in 8 games … Recorded 9 tackles (4 solo, 5 assists) … Twice registered a career-high 3 tackles – against South Dakota and St. Cloud State. 

2004: Sat out season as a redshirt. 

High School: A standout linebacker at Breck High School … Helped the Mustangs to a 43-6 record during his four-year career … The Mustangs were 14-0 and won the Class AA state championship in 2003 … Helped Breck to conference championships in 2001 and 2003, and state playoff appearances in 2001, 2002 and 2003.
