2021: NSIC Champion … NSIC South Division Champion … appeared in five games for the Vikings … season cut short due to injury … rushed 11 times for 68 yards and a touchdown … caught three passes ... returned seven kickoffs for 130 yards … rushed for a 50-yard touchdown in a win against UMary (Sep. 11) ... earned NSIC All-Academic Team honors.

2020: No season due to COVID-19 ... earned NSIC All-Academic Team honors.

2019 (Sophomore): Named to the Fall NSIC All-Academic Team ... Was poised for a strong sophomore season before a season-ending injury in the season’s opening game … in the contest against Upper Iowa, scored a three-yard rushing touchdown … also tallied a reception for nine yards. 

2018 (Freshman): Broke into the DII Football scene with a strong freshman year... Appeared in 10 games… tallied 50 carries for 385 yards and 5 touchdowns… Had a career-high 109 rushing yards at Concordia St. Paul... Also caught two passes for 11 yards... scored his first career touchdown in the season-opener at Upper Iowa, where he finished with  carries for 66 yards... Caught 12 passes on the season for 116 yards… Returned 9 kick-offs for 241 yards, averaging 26.8 yards per return… Third highest on the team in all-purpose yards, with 733 yards.

High School: Prepped at Brandon Valley High School for coach Chad Garrow ... three-year letterwinner and two-year starter ... posted 316 carries in 2017 for 2,241 yards and 31 touchdowns, and set school’s single-game rushing record with 340 yards rushing in 2017 ... named all-Eastern South Dakota Conference, all-Metro Conference, all-state and South Dakota 11AAA Coaches All-American in 2017 ... rushed for 1,100 yards and 13 touchdowns as a junior in 2016.
 
Personal: Son of George and Christy Petersen ... born on Jan. 6, 2000 ... plans on majoring in government.
