Outdoor: NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence … Ran a season-best time of 51.41 in the 400m dash at the NSIC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
2020-21 (Junior):
Indoor: NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence ... Did not compete.
Outdoor: Was part of the 4x400m relay that placed fifth at the NSIC Outdoor Championships … Ran a season’s best 57.12 in the 400m hurdles at the Maverick Classic on May 7 … Ran a season’s best 50.64 in the 400m at the Kip Janvrin Open on Apr. 23.
2019-20 (Sophomore):
Indoor: Ran a personal best 400 meter at the SDSU Holiday Open on Dec. 7 with a time of 50.33… Earned a spot on the CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team... Earned a spot on the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.
Outdoor: Earned a spot on the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence…
Season canceled due to COVID-19
2018-19 (Freshman):
Indoor: Earned sixth and eighth place finishes respectively with his personal bests in the 400m and 60 meter hurdles (51.65 & 8.97) at the SDSU Last Chance on Feb. 15… Ran a personal best 600m (1:25.66) at the SDSU Indoor Classic on Feb. 9… Ran a personal best 200m (24:58) at the Minnesota State Invitational on Jan. 11.
Outdoor: Set a personal best in the javelin throw (31.67m) at the NSIC Outdoor Championship on May 11… Ran personal bests in the 110 meter hurdles and 400 meter hurdles (16.19 & 57.05) at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays on May 4, good for 13th and 7th place respectively.
High School: Schumacher graduated from Stevens High School in May of 2018.
Personal: Schumacher was born on Nov. 11, 1999 in Aberdeen, South Dakota, to parents Greg and Karen. He has two siblings, Jeremy and Jordan, and enjoys camping, hiking, boating, traveling, sports and lifting.
