2022 (Senior): Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence…Appeared in 11 games while making one start…Spent 21 innings on the mound…Tallied 22 strikeouts…Held a 2-0 record and had three saves.

2021 (Junior): Appeared in 18 games and made two starts on the mound for the Vikings… Had a 3-2 record, one save and 21 strikeouts in 22.1 innings pitched… NSIC All-Academic.

2020 (Junior): Started one game and made four appearances on the mound for the Vikings… Went 2-0 in 10.1 innings pitched with a 2.61 ERA, nine strikeouts and a .195 opponent batting average… Season cut short due to COVID-19.

2019 (Sophomore): Appeared in 13 games on the mound and made seven starts including one complete game… Went 7-0 with a 3.91 ERA in 50.2 innings pitched… Earned the win in the NSIC Tournament Championship Game... Struck out 45 hitters and held opponents to a .244 batting average.

2018 (Freshman): Did not see any action in 2018

High School Notes: As a junior Furst pitched in 53 innings and posted a 1.96 ERA with 49 strikeouts … he won five games during the season with one save and just two losses … he helped lead his team to a 14-9 record and a sectional runner-up finish … he earned Gold Academic All-State honors … as a sophomore he pitched in 30 innings with a 3.69 ERA … he picked up 17 strikeouts with two wins and one save … helped lead his team to a 15-7 record and a second-place finish in the Big 9 Conference
 
Personal: Born on April 5, 1999 in Mankato, Minnesota to Keith and Laura Furst ; Furst is currently undecided on what he will major in while at Augustana but is looking at Pre-Architecture or Exercise and Sports Science
