2021 (Sophomore): ABCA/Rawlings Second-Team All-America… ABCA/Rawlings First-Team All-Region… NCBWA Second-Team All-Region… D2CCA Second-Team All-Region… First-Team All-NSIC… NSIC All-Tournament Team… NSIC Player of the Week on April 20, 2021… Started all 49 games for the Vikings… Hit .423 with 58 runs scored, 83 hits (led NSIC), 12 doubles, four triples, 10 homers, 46 RBIs, a .670 SLG%, 20 walks, 11 HBPs, a .498 OBP% and 28 steals in 30 attempts.
2020 (Redshirt Sophomore): Started all 13 games for the Vikings… Had a .440 batting average with 22 hits, five doubles, one triple, two homers, 17 runs scored and 10 RBIs… Had a slugging percentage of .700, on base percentage of .481, fielding percentage of 1.000 and went three-for-four in stolen base attempts... Season cut short due to COVID-19.
2019 (Sophomore): Sat out as a redshirt.
2018 (Freshman): Saw action in one game … took one at-bat … Was was a member of a team that won a program-best 52 games, an NSIC Conference Tournament championship, a Central Region Tournament Championship and the school’s first ever National Championship
High School Notes: Carter enters his senior year as a two year starter and one year letter winner … as a junior he earned a .385 batting average with 18 singles, two doubles and 11 RBIs … his team voted him team captain for the 2017 season … as a sophomore he earned a .387 batting average with 22 singles, four doubles, three triples while driving 23 runs and stealing seven bases … helped lead his team to a 31-14 record
