2022 (Senior): Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence…Played in 59 games while making 58 starts…Scored 40 runs for the Vikings…Logged 54 hits, 12 doubles, three triples and eight home runs…Totaled 37 RBI.

2021 (Junior): NSIC All-Tournament Team… Played in 47 games and started 44 games for the Vikings… Hit .296 with 35 runs scored, 42 hits, five doubles, one triple, eight homers, 24 RBIs, a .405 OBP% and 17 steals in 20 attempts… Earned a spot on the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.

2020 (Junior): Started 12 games for the Vikings… Had a .370 batting average with 17 hits, four doubles, two triples, six homers, 19 RBIs and 15 runs scored… Led the Vikings in Home Runs and RBIs while homering in five-straight games… Had a slugging percentage of .935, on base percentage of .431 and fielding percentage of 1.000… Earned a spot on the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence… Season cut short due to COVID-19.

Before Augustana: Spent his first two college baseball seasons at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado... Enjoyed a nice sophomore year where he hit 10 home runs, drove in 57 runs, scored 46 runs, stole 9 bases, and had a .377 batting average. 

High School: Attended Spearfish High School where he was a four year starter... Enjoyed a fantastic senior year legion ball season where he scored 62 runs, tallied 83 hits including 17 doubles, 10 triples, and 5 home runs, and drove in 57 runs himself... All of those offensive statistics culminated in a .500 batting average. 

Personal: Jaxon was born in Spearfish, S.D. on March 13th, 1999. He still lives in his hometown with his parents: Jeremy Henwood and Jennifer Johnson. While at Augustana, Jaxon plans to major in mathematics and to continue working towards his engineering degree.
