Indoor: NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence … Earned USTFCCCA All-Central Region honors in the high jump … Placed 13th in the high jump at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships on Mar. 11-12 … Placed sixth in the high jump at the NSIC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Feb. 25-26 … Had a season best leap in the high jump clearing 5-8 at the SDSU Last Chance Meet on Feb. 19.
Outdoor: NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence … Placed 17th in the women’s high jump at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships … NCAA Qualifier in the high jump … Placed fourth in the high jump at the NSIC Outdoor Track & Field Championships … Cleared a season-best 5-9.25 in the high jump at the Minnesota State Open.

2020-21 (Senior):
Indoor: Academic All NSIC … Became an All-American in the high jump at the NCAA Indoor Championships placing fourth with a jump of 5-7.25 … Earned USTFCCCA All-Central Region honors in the high jump ... Placed first at the NSIC Championships in the high jump with a jump of 5-7 … Jumped a personal best and automatic qualifier at SDSU Jim Emmerich Invite on Jan. 23 with a leap of 5-9.25.
Outdoor: NSIC All-Academic … Automatic Qualifier in the high jump … NSIC Champion in the high jump in a personal best 5-9.75.

2019-20 (Sophomore):
Indoor: Earned a second-place finish in the high jump at the Mark Schuck Open on Feb. 1 with a season best height of 1.63m (5-4.25)... Named to the Winter NSIC All-Academic Team. 
Outdoor: Named to Spring NSIC All-Academic Team… Season canceled due to COVID-19

2018-19 (Redshirt Sophomore):
Indoor: Academic All NSIC…Had a season best high jump (1.47m) at the Ted Nelson Classic on Feb. 2… Earned an eighth place finish with her season best long jump (4.97m) at the SDSU DII Invitational on Jan. 18. 
Outdoor: Academic All NSIC… Earned a fourth place finish (1.63m) in the high jump at the NSIC Outdoor Championships on May 11…  Finished in first place with her season best high jump (1.64m) at the Red Raider Open on Apr. 20… Had a season best long jump (4.78m) at the Dordt College Outdoor Invitational on Apr. 6.

High School: Miedema graduated from Washington High School in June of 2016.

Personal: Miedema was born on July 10, 1997 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She has three siblings, Kane, Aubrey and Kael, and enjoys painting. While at Augustana, she plans to major in exercise science and minor in Spanish.
