Indoor: Earned USTFCCCA All-Central Region honors in the heptathlon … Led through day one of the heptathlon at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships with 3,272 points … Placed 16th at the national meet in the heptathlon after suffering an injury on day two … Won the heptathlon at the NSIC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Feb. 25-26, with a point total of 5,378 breaking the NSIC and facility record.
Outdoor: Placed 9th in the javelin throw with a school record heave of 211-0 to earn Second Team All-America honors at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships … Placed 13th in the high jump at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, clearing 5-9.5 … NCAA Qualifier in the javelin throw and high jump … Named NSIC Field Athlete of the Year … Men’s High Point Performer of the NSIC Outdoor Championships, scoring 27 points … Broke the school record in the triple jump (47-9.75) at the NSIC Outdoor Championships to place second … Broke the school record in the high jump being the lone Viking to clear 7 feet with his clearance of 7-0.25 at the Maverick Open on May 4 … Set a personal-best of 23-11 in the long jump at the Pacific Coast Invitational.
2020-21 (Junior):
Indoor: Placed fifth in the heptathlon at the NCAA Championships on Mar. 12th scoring a point total of 5,207 … National Qualifier in the heptathlon … Earned USTFCCCA All-Central Region honors in the heptathlon … Repeated as High Point Performer at the NSIC Championships … Earned All-NSIC honors in the heptathlon and triple jump … Placed first in the heptathlon at the NSIC Championships on Feb. 26 scoring a point total of 5,106 points … placed second in the triple jump, fifth in the 60m hurdles, fifth in the high jump, and sixth in the long jump at the conference meet.
Outdoor: Second Team All-American in the decathlon … NSIC Field Athlete of the Year ... NSIC Champion in the javelin throw in a personal best 206-4 … NSIC Champion in the decathlon scoring a school record 7,302 points … Broke the school record in the high jump enroute to winning the decathlon at the NSIC Outdoor Championships jumping 6-11 … Ran a personal best 14.93 in the 110m hurdles at the NSIC & Friends Outdoor Challenge on May 1.
2019-20 (Sophomore):
Indoor: Earned USTFCCCA All-America honors in the heptathlon and high jump... National Qualifier in the heptathlon and high jump… Earned USTFCCCA All-Central Region honors in the heptathlon and high jump… After being named the NSIC Preseason Field Athlete of the Year, Woelber was named the NSIC Field Athlete of the Year and High Point Performer at the NSIC Championships… Earned All-NSIC honors with a first-place finish in the heptathlon at the NSIC Championships with 5,357 points, breaking his own school record by over 100 and taking the seventh-best score in the country… His high jump mark in that heptathlon, 2.12m (6-11.5), the eighth-best mark in the country, also broke the Augustana school record held by himself from earlier this season… Broke his third school record and took home All-NSIC honors at the NSIC Championships in the triple jump with a distance of 14.51m (47-7.25)... Took home All-NSIC honors in the long jump at the NSIC Championships with a personal best distance of 7.22m (23-8.25) placing him second… Earned first-place titles in the long jump at the Mark Schuck Open, Heptathlon at the Bison Open and triple jump at the NSIC Indoor Challenge.
Outdoor: Season canceled due to COVID-19
2018-19 (Freshman):
Indoor: Earned a fourth place finish in the heptathlon with a score of 4917 at the NSIC Indoor Championship on Feb. 23… Ran a season best 60m (7.44) at the SDSU Holiday Invite on Dec. 1… Ran a season best 1,000m (2:52.74) at the NSIC Indoor Championship.
Outdoor: NSIC Field Athlete and Newcomer of the Year… Runner up at the NSIC Multi Championships with a decathlon score of 6,694 points… Placed first in the Javelin throw (57.79m) at the NSIC Outdoor Championships which earned him NSIC Outdoor Track & Field All Conference Honors… Earned USTFCCCA All-Region Honors in the Decathlon.
High School: Woelber graduated from Pipestone Area High School in May of 2018.
Personal: Woelber was born on Oct. 27, 1999 in Pipestone, Minnesota, to parents Tad and Heidi Woelber. He has three siblings, Sarah, Bree and Brooke, and enjoys basketball and golfing with his dad.
