Nutrition plays an important role in an athlete's ability to function and perform at a high level.

Nutrition provides the energy necessary to perform at their very best each and every day. More importantly, nutrition will help pave the way to a more productive body.It will help athletes mold and shape their bodies to reach their sport's specific needs.

Whether the athlete's goal is weight gain or weight loss, nutrition will help mold their bodies with those goals in mind.

The Viking Strength and Conditioning Program staff counsels athletes on an individual basis to help them understand the many aspects of nutrition and how those aspects will affect their growth and development.
