NCAA Update on COVID-19 and the NCAA DII Wrestling Championships

INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA continues to assess the impact of COVID-19 in consultation with public health officials and the NCAA COVID-19 advisory panel. Based on their advice and NCAA President Mark Emmert's discussions with the NCAA Board of Governors, the decision has been made to conduct upcoming championship events with only essential staff and limited family attendance.

That includes the NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships on Friday and Saturday hosted by Augustana University and the Sioux Falls Sports Authority at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

This NCAA Championship Event has been closed to the public.
If you ordered your tickets from an official NCAA Championship vendor online or over the phone, you will be refunded. No additional action is needed.
1. If you have ordered your tickets from an official NCAA Championship vendor you will receive additional information via email.
2. Your refund will be automatically delivered (except applicable fees) to the same card used for purchase.
3. Refunds should be received within 30 business days after the date of cancellation.

Sioux Falls will welcome some of the nation’s top student-athletes to compete for a NCAA Division II Wrestling Championship at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center on March 13-14, 2020.

This double-elimination tournament will bring student-athletes from DII colleges and universities to Sioux Falls in order to compete in ten weight classes. The Championship will determine the Division II All-America team with the top eight finishers in each weight class qualifying for All-America status.

Fans planning to attend the championships should be aware that the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center has a clear bag policy for all events. Opaque bags larger than 4.5” x 6.5” will not be permitted into the venue. Guests may enter the building with a clear one (1) gallon zipper lock type bag or a clear stadium bag that is no larger than 12” x 12” x 6”. All bags are subject to search. Parking is free.
