2017 (Freshman): Participated in seven games and recorded one start during the 2017 season … went 1-2 on the season, posting a 3.86 ERA accounting for 13 strikeouts in 14 innings pitched … the freshman earned his first win as a Viking on April 2, 2017 when Augustana defeated Northern State 10-3 

High School: While at East High School Moran was a four-year starter, three-year letter winner and named a team captain his senior season … As a junior Moran had a batting average of .500 … His ERA was 1.34 in 36 innings of work … Earned First Team All-District honors as well as Colorado All-State honorable mention … As a sophomore he posted a perfect 2-0 record on the mound with an ERA of 4.14
 
Personal: Born September 19, 1997 in Denver, Colorado to Jim and Kathy Moran; He plans on majoring in Biology with a minor in Spanish while at Augustana. His career goals are to be a doctor
