2020 (Freshman): Made two appearances on the mound for the Vikings… Season cut short due to COVID-19.

High School: Bunnell graduated from Cedar High School in May of 2019. As a junior, he had a 3.75 ERA in 56 innings pitched with 60 strikeouts while holding hitters to a .243 average against. He hit .317 that year and was named Academic Player of the Year for his class. As a sophomore he had a 4.43 ERA in 30 innings pitched with 20 strikeouts while holding hitters to a .280 clip. He was also named the academic player of the year for his class that season.

Personal: Bunnell was born on Mar. 22, 2001 to parents Kevin and Celia Bunnell. He has two siblings, Colter and Hayden, and enjoys reading, hunting, hiking, wakeboarding and snowboarding when he is not on the baseball field. He plans to major in pre-engineering or computer science at Augustana.
