2023: NSIC Champion … helped AU advance to the Division II College World Series … Academic All-NSIC … made four relief appearances on the mound … struck out three in 2 1/3 innings … struck out a pair in a scoreless inning against Bemidji State on April 3.

2022: Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence…Appeared in six games and pitched 5.2 innings…Logged five strikeouts.

2021: Appeared in two games on the mound for the Vikings.

Personal: Thompson was born on Sept. 27, 2000, to parents Jeff Thompson and Kristin Flor. He graduated from Seattle Prep High School in 2018 and played his freshman season of college baseball at Whitman College. He played his sophomore season of college baseball at Lamar Community College.
