Augustana University Athletics

2018 National Champion, Jordan Barth, enters his second year on the Augustana coaching staff in 2025. Prior to joining the coaching staff, Barth completed a standout five-year playing career for the Vikings. In his first season as an assistant, Barth helped the Vikings to an NSIC Championship. 

Barth rewrote the record books during his time with Augustana, breaking the all-time hits (332), doubles (73), RBIs (219), and total bases (535), and is second in home runs (42) runs scored (217). He batted .379 over the course of his career, good for seventh all-time. 

Barth was well-decorated in his time, earning four All-NSIC nods, two seasons of All-Region nods, a 2019 All-American honor, and 2022 All-American Honorable Mention honors. He was also a two-time All-Tournament team member and 2018 Tournament MVP, which came in the same season he was named NSIC Freshman of the Year. 

Barth spent the 2024 season with the Sioux Falls Canaries, where he was named an All-Star and helped boost the Canaries to the American Association playoffs.
