2023: NSIC Champion … helped AU advance to the Division II College World Series … NCBWA All-Central Region Honorable Mention … D2CCA All-Central Region Second Team … All-NSIC First Team … NSIC Player of the Week (April 4) … played in 67 games while making 64 starts … batted .345 with a .659 slugging percentage … tied the school record with 17 home runs in the season … reached base in 43.4 percent of his at-bats … led NCAA Division II in sacrifice flies with nine … ranked 26^th in the nation with 151 total bases … recorded 23 multi-hit games … ranked fourth in the NSIC with 17 doubles … made four appearances on the pitching mound totaling 7.1 innings while striking out nine … had the memorable moment of pitching and catching in the same at-bat, accomplishing the feat on May 2 against Winona State.

2022: Named the NSIC Player of the Week on March 29, 2022…Named the NCBWA Player of the Week on March 30, 2022…Played in 50 games while making 42 starts…Logged 39 hits, three doubles and 16 home runs…Totaled 37 RBI…Spent 8.2 innings on the mound and recorded 13 strikeouts.

2021: Played in 23 games and started 16 games for the Vikings… Hit .317 with 11 runs scored, 20 hits, five doubles, one triple, two homers and 16 RBI.

2020: Started two games for the Vikings and saw action in five games… Went two-for-five at the plate with a homer and two RBIs… Season cut short due to COVID-19.

High School: Dirksen graduated from Willmar Senior High in June of 2019.

Personal: Dirksen was born on Dec. 30, 2000 in Spicer, Minnesota, to parents Jeremy and Ali Dirksen. He has two siblings, Chase and Beau, and enjoys hunting, wakeboarding, surfing and video games when he is not on the baseball field.
