High School: Anderson is a two-year starter for the Little Cyclones. In 11 appearances and 10 starts as a junior, he went 4-2 with a 2.88 ERA in 51 innings while striking out 63. He was named to the All-District Second Team, All-Conference First Team, Team Pitcher of the Year and Academic All-Conference team. He also lettered in his sophomore season.

Personal: Erik is the son of Chris Anderson and Stephanie Hamilton. He is undecided on his major.
