2023: NSIC Champion … helped AU advance to the Division II College World Series … CSC Academic All-District … Academic All-NSIC … played in 61 games making 51 starts … batted .301 with 12 doubles … slugged at a .468 clip … recorded 47 hits with 31 RBI … hit four home runs … recorded 11 multi-hit games included a 4-for-5 effort with five RBI against Bemidji State on April 3 … committed just four errors while recording 325 putouts and 15 assists.

2022: Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence…Played in 37 games while making 29 starts…Logged 28 hits, six doubles, one triple and six home runs…Totaled 27 RBI and scored 18 runs for the Vikings.

Before Augustana: Ballweg spent three years at McHenry County College in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Through 51 games in the 2021 season, Ballweg hit .388 with 53 runs scored, 52 hits, 17 doubles, seven homers, and 49 RBI. He graduated from Middleton High School in May of 2018 and hit .410 as a senior with all-conference and all-region honors.
