Augustana University Athletics

2021 (Senior): Appeared in 12 games and made four starts for the Vikings… Had a 1-1 record, one save and 27 strikeouts in 21.2 innings pitched.

2020 (Senior): Started one game and made three appearances on the mound for the Vikings… Went 1-0 in 9.1 innings pitched with a 1.93 ERA, 11 strikeouts and a .156 opponent batting average… Named to Spring NSIC All-Academic Team… Earned a spot on the CoSIDA District 7 Academic All-District First Team... Season cut short due to COVID-19.

Before Augustana: Parker played his freshman year at Dakota County Technical College... Played his sophomore and junior seasons at Minnesota Crookston University... As a sophomore he went 4-3 with a 4.93 ERA in 69.1 innings pitched with 46 strikeouts... As a junior he led his team in innings pitched with 56.2 to go along with a 3.02 ERA and 38 strikeouts. 

High School: Graduated from Hawley High School in 2015. He was all-conference during his sophomore, junior and senior seasons. 

Personal: Hanson was born on Mar. 7, 1997 in Hawley, Minnesota, to parents Barb and Mike. Parker enjoys being outdoors, sports, snowmobiling, four-wheeling and spending time with friends. He plans on getting his masters in sports administration and leadership while at Augustana.
