2023: NSIC Champion … helped AU advance to the Division II College World Series … NSIC Pitcher of the Week (Feb. 27) … CSC Academic All-District … NSIC Myles Brand All-Academic … Academic All-NSIC … made 16 appearances on the mound, including 11 starts … struck out 57 batters in 49 1/3 innings … threw a season-high seven innings, allowing just one hit and striking out nine against Colorado Christian on February 25.

2021: NCBWA Second-Team All-Region… ABCA/Rawlings Second-Team All-Region… D2CCA Second-Team All-Region… First-Team All-NSIC… NSIC Pitcher of the Week on May 4, 2021… Appeared in 14 games and made 11 starts on the mound for the Vikings… Had a 2.25 ERA, 6-2 record, one save, one complete-game shutout and 96 strikeouts in 68 innings pitched.

Before Augustana: During his freshman year of college at Scottsdale Community, Ryan went 3-0 in 50.2 innings pitched and posted a 3.20 ERA and 44 strikeouts in 18 appearances. He garnered NJCAA All-Academic Third Team honors during that season. During his senior year of high school, Jares went 7-1 with a 1.57 ERA and 56 strikeouts in 44.2 innings pitched. He was named First Team all-conference, Runner Up Pitcher of the Year, Second Team All-State and Academic All-State that year.
