2022 (Senior): Earned NSIC All-Conference First-Team honors…2022 NSIC Pitcher of the Year…Named the NSIC Pitcher of the Week on March 29, 2022…Broke the Augustana career strikeout record with his 223rd against Bemidji State on March 26, 2022…Named to the NCBWA Division II Second-Team All-America…Earned 2022 D2CCA Third-Team All-America honors…Earned ABCA/Rawlings Central All-Region First Team honors…Earned NCBWA All-Region First-Team honors…Earned D2CCA All-Region First-Team honors…Leads Augustana as the all-time strikeout leader with 301…Finished the season with a 9-1 record…Became the career leader in pitching wins with 25…Struck out 117 hitters in 2022 and had an ERA of 2.89.

2021 (Junior): NSIC Pitcher of the Week on March 29, 2021 after tossing the second perfect game in Augustana history against Minot State on March 27, 2021 in a 4-0 win… Appeared in 11 games and made nine starts on the mound for the Vikings… Had a 3.04 ERA, 5-0 record, one save, two complete-game shutouts and 71 strikeouts in 56.1 innings pitched.

2020 (Junior): Earned NSIC Pitcher of the Week honors on Feb. 10 after pitching the Vikings to a game-two win against No. 21 Arkansas Monticello with five innings of shutout baseball and five strikeouts… Made three overall starts on the mound for the Vikings… Went 3-0 in 16 innings pitched with 19 strikeouts and an opponent batting average of .233… Season cut short due to COVID-19.

2019 (Sophomore): Appeared in 19 games on the mound and made nine starts… Went 7-2 with a 3.17 ERA in 71 innings… Led the Vikings with 84 strikeouts and had an opponent batting average of .224... Led the NSIC in strikeouts looking. 

2018 (Freshman): Saw action in nine games, making one start as a pitcher … 1-0 on the year … 2.89 ERA … 9.1 innings pitched … .257 opponent batting average … Pitched a season high 3.0 innings vs Mayville State on April 11 … Was was a member of a team that won a program-best 52 games, an NSIC Conference Tournament championship, a Central Region Tournament Championship and the school’s first ever National Championship

High School Notes: Tanner enters his senior season as a one year starter and three year letter winner … as a junior he posted a 2.37 ERA in 53 innings while making 12 starts … he struck out 63 batters on his way to earning a 6-1 record … during his high school season he pitched 37 innings earning a 3.5 ERA in eight starts … as a sophomore he made four starts and pitching in 15 innings … he struck out 10 batters and was 1-1 on the year
 
Personal: Born on March 30, 1999 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Travis and Amy Brown; While at Augustana he plans on majoring in Biology
