2024: NSIC Champion … made 12 appearances on the mound … struck out 24 batters in 17 innings while having a record of 2-1 … struck out five in 2 2/3 scoreless innings against Sioux Falls on April 10 … earned his first career save with 2 2/3 scoreless innings and four strikeouts against Concordia-St. Paul on April 20.

2023: NSIC Champion … helped AU advance to the Division II College World Series … made 14 appearances, including two starts … made his collegiate debut February 4 at Hawaii Hilo, throwing 2 1/3 shutout innings … struck out four in two shutout innings against Emporia State on February 18.

2022: Did not see any game action in 2022.

High School: Sun graduated from Nanjing Dongshan Foreign Language School in May of 2018. Sun was coached by former professional player and member of the Chinese national team, Ray Chang on a MLB China Development Team.
